LAPIZ LAZULI GEM STONE


Dates back to 4000 B.C. where it was seen all over the Mediterranean as one of the first gems used as jewelry. This royal blue gemstone is composed of Lazurite, pyrite and calcit. It is said to represent truth and friendship. Lapises main sources are Afghanistan, Chile and the former USSR.


Vivid Royal Blue, Virtually no calcite inclusions, Even Color, Good Polish, Medium Dome.
